2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE Engine Specs and Features
The base GLE 350 trim is powered by the base engine listed in the chart above. The 4MATIC fully variable all-wheel-drive system is standard on the GLE 350 4MATIC level. The GLE 450 4MATIC, on the other hand, is equipped with a mild-hybrid drive system and a 3.0-liter inline-six turbocharged engine. The gasoline engine produces 362 horsepower and 369 foot-pounds of torque.
The AMG-tuned 3.0-liter I-6 turbo with a 48-Volt Mild Hybrid system and electric auxiliary compressor produces 429 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque. AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G 9-speed automatic transmission is mated with this engine. The 4.0-liter V8 Biturbo with 48-Volt Mild Hybrid system engine produces 483 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. The 9G–TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission is coupled with these engines.
The GLE's interior has various features found in many other automobiles on the market. A vast instrument cluster, for example, features a touchscreen display. Thanks to the abundance of soft-touch materials on the dashboard, the cabin is exceptionally comfy. Leather upholstery is used on the seats, which is both attractive and long-lasting.
